Song titles
Alone and Unaware, the Landscape Was Transformed in Front of Our Eyes.
Buildings Began to Stretch Wide Across the Sky, and the Air Filled with a Reddish Glow.
The Soundless Dawn Came Alive as Cities Began to Mark the Horizon.
Mechanical Sounds Cascaded Though the City Walls and Everyone Reveled in Their Ignorance.
A Brief Moment of Clarity Broke Through the Deafening Hum, But It Was Too Late;
Our Happiest Days Slowly Began to Turn into Dust.
The Sixth Extinction Crept Up Slowly, Like Sunlight Through the Shutters, as We Looked Back in Regret.

Oregon takes ASU 35-23 to move up to #3 in the BCS:
"On a clear, crisp afternoon in the Willamette Valley, the largest crowd to attend a football game in the state, 53,379, turned out to watch the Ducks (8-1, 5-1 Pac-10) hand the Sun Devils (8-1, 5-1) their first defeat.
Arizona State came into the game as one of five undefeated teams in major college football, with its own hopes for a national title run.
Oregon ended those hopes behind the deft playmaking of Dixon and the running of Jonathan Stewart, who ran for 99 yards, including a 33-yard touchdown." -AP

MARBURY v. MADISON
I sat down to read Marbury v. Madison tonight.
Yeah, and ask how much made any sense...
What have I got myself into now?
I think this will be my new best friend:
[...] If the solicitude of the convention, respecting our peace with foreign powers, induced a provision that the supreme court should take original jurisdiction in cases which might be supposed to affect them; yet the clause would have proceeded no further than to provide for such cases, if no further restriction on the powers of congress had been intended. That they should have appellate jurisdiction in all other cases, with such exceptions as congress might make, is no restriction; unless the words be deemed exclusive of original jurisdiction. [...]Took an hour and a half.
